Guys, is 30% of the content on IH already AI generated?
It just seems like most posts are bland dry and GPT verbose.
I just see sooo much trash, especially in the new section. Which is just asking ChatGPT to generate a list on some topic.

Agreed. Seen many AI-generated comments recently, not just here on PH, also on other communities, and even Twitter.
Ohhhh man, I know what you mean… It’s obvious what’s happening – people with limited English are using AI to edit their writing “Correct grammar and rephrase the text to appear more professional” so now, every post kind of feels like written by the same person. I wish people were a little more personable.
Yea, it's just so dry and boring and weirdly that i know no effort was put in to write it immediately makes it less interesting
True, so perfect grammar means that is high chance to be written by a machine.
Maybe I should write a chrome extension called ungrammarly that would introduce mistakes and misspellings in the text.

Joined IH 24 hours ago, not to read content from ChatGPT. This is a community for people not for chatbots. I can’t vote yet because I am a baby in IH, but I am curious to know the results.

How do you know it's AI-generated and not just an awkward writer?
I used GPT-0 I think they are currently the best. Still pretty possible to beat them

IMHO people are getting too paranoid - as if I'd go to the length of asking ChatGPT just to improve my grammar a little bit...I tried this once on twitter and the big value is just not there -> nowhere near enough that I'd pay for such an app. And regarding posts: I wouldn't use ChatGPT to write my posts for me when it can really only generate average content with information that you could look up yourself with a quick google search.
