Handling payments for a market place
Hi Everyone, I build LeanOn (www.leanon.app) which is a peer support platform.
The goal of LeanOn is to help people with loneliness or someone just wants to vent or rant.
The platform allows only for text and voice so as to not go the adult content / NSFW way.
I have some very early traction and paying users who would pay to chat.
I want to expand this to a global company catering to US and UK. As a marketplace, I need to get international payments and disburse them to users internationally as well.
Any recommended payment gateways?
Paying users make the marketplace thesis more credible. Before going global, have payout friction or payment failures already started limiting listener supply or customer demand?
