Hard work isn't enough - you need luck too
You hear it all the time - that it is easy to grow a business, or hit $10K MRR. These people are lying, and probably trying to sell you a course 99% of the time.
Don't let anyone tell you being an entrepreneur is easy. It's not. In fact, it's way harder than just being an employee and "resting and 'vesting". Anyone saying otherwise isn't honest.
You need to know what you're getting into when you start to indie-hack. The road ahead is going to be hard, and if you're not ready for that, you aren't being realistic about the realities of indie hacking.
It'l break even the toughest person mentally, sometimes.
So, if you are struggling - don't worry. We all are, and that's ok.
On the other hand, luck can be enough without any hard work.
There is this book "The Unfair Advantage: How You Already Have What It Takes to Succeed" by Ash Ali and Hasan Kubba to prove that point
Thanks for sharing this with me. I'll certainly give this a read, probably more of a scan, when I find some times. I'm into reading, but books usually on business for some reason don't hold my attention - maybe it's all the social media impacting my attention span. Anyways, I'm trying to read more, though, ultimately. So, I'll add this to the list.

True, you have to make yourself capable.
Your right - it's hard though. Not every day is a good one, some I'm not able to get myself to indie-hack after working 10 hours. How do you try to give yourself a push when you don't have anything left in the tank?
Same with me right now, but I am working on myself. It's all about what engine you have if you have a Ferrari engine, you will go full throttle, but if you have a Toyota engine and you try to speed up, then you will break down.
