Has anyone built internal AI tools for their business?

When ChatGPT first came out I thought the market for software would die a quick death. I thought this because building software instantly became completely democratized - anyone can build their own custom tools now, and soon, AI will auto-build tools when needed.

There will be no need to buy third-party software if you can build everything you need in-house (ostensibly).

I'm not a programmer at all but I've been able to build multiple apps and bots for my own use (and to use within my business).

I'm curious if anyone else is primarily using AI in this way? How are y'all using it internally? What workflows & automations are you using to make things more efficient? Which platforms are you piecing together and where does AI fit in?

Not interested in paying for ChatGPT wrappers if I can build a custom one in 2-3 hours...
