Do you see the same bad results? What're your tips on working with Quora?
I have spent an inordinate amount of time on Quora. Mostly because I love learning and sharing what I know. I've also seen people go from hundreds of followers to thousands. I've also posted great answers (IMO) that didn't receive any upvotes.
There are essentially two ways to succeed: 1) Posting several times per day – output, 2) Be a great storyteller - write engaging content.
If you love writing, you're good at it and able to find a human spin on things, then Quora could be for you. People everywhere love stories that are exciting and emotional. Quora is no exception.

I had so-so results. Best ones come from featured answers. I have got days when I would get 150-200 visitors, but they are poorly converting. I believe, that spending 2-3 months on Quora and adding 3-5 quality answers a day can turn profitable though.

For two weeks I think. I tinkered a lot with Quora, but I find other methods more effective short term. Quora is rather a long term solution.
How long have you guys been using this marketing channel?
Don’t have much experience with a marketing angle on quora myself.
we used it several months before: it didn’t work out. Now decided to try one more time.
Any reason to circle back with it not working before?

I keep hearing that Quora is working. So probably, I thought, I was doing something wrong 🤔
I would suggest continuing to answer a few questions a day for a week or two.
Then take time to analyze the results and see if Quora is a viable acquisition channel for you.

I replied many questions on Quora relevant to my products. Some answers gave my a nice amount of views, but with very poor conversion rates. At the end, it wasn't worth the time for me.

With 4.6K views, we got 18 clicks! Can you image 😂 (I posted all our numbers in this post on IndieHackers)
For Ministry of Testing we've posted stuff there, not consistently, over the past 3 years we check in every month or two, answers questions then forget about it in frustration of all the horrible responses. I just had a look at our analytics, we had 2k referrals from them in the past year.
that's not a bad result, I think.
Do your answers get removed most of the time like mine?🤔
from 45 answers 38 are alive. You can see it here https://www.quora.com/profile/Lisa-Dziuba But when we added answers into wiki - all of them were removed :(
