Has anyone had success launching a local product on Product Hunt?

My co-founder (@alan) and I built a job board and directory for the Oregon tech community called The Silicon Forest. (https://www.thesiliconforest.com/)

February 14th is Oregon's birthday and we are thinking of launching the site on Product Hunt to celebrate. We aren't sure if the Product Hunt audience would be interested in a product that is focus on a specific area. Has anyone launched a local product on Product Hunt? How did it go?
