Has anyone tried to buy and grow an existing app?
I saw that there were many well-polished apps on indiemakers.co. Any indie hackers tried to acquire one and grew an abandoned product?
Mind sharing your exp? How do you decide to pick an app? Do you buy the product developed with the stack you know?

I am evaluating one site to buy now. < $1k MMR. I can update on how it goes.
My experience so far has been that finding the right one takes a lot of digging.

@ryan has a ton of experience with this. I haven't found a great fit so far, personally. I'm big on founder-market fit, so I tend to start my own ideas, but buying something at $1k MRR isn't too expensive and skips the whole validation part.
