Has anyone used Alzo.com for a bank account?

I'm looking to set up a US bank account for my business and I just learned about Alzo, the self-proclaimed "Easy, fee-free banking for entrepreneurs". Anyone have any experience using them? EDIT: I applied and was denied an account based on "your business is in an industry we cannot currently support". So they don't support SaaS companies.

Also using Azlo. I don't have any complaints, and haven't had any need for features they don't offer. I was sick of getting nickel-and-dimed by PNC, and their web management portal was hot garbage.

Yeah, I used a state bank some years ago for a local business I started and their online services weren't bad... they were non-existent. I wanted to support a local bank, but I need 21st century services, especially for my new endeavor!

I use it. As long as you don't need the things they don't have, they're great.

Yeah, I read they don't offer check books or the ability to deposit cash. Those are both non-issues for me, as far as I can imagine.

Exactly. They let you use BVBA ATMs so you can get cash and you can accept checks from clients via the mobile app.

Their support has been helpful when I've needed it.

Yep, working well for me. Some people have issues with deposit size caps, but most of what I do flows from stripe so it's a non-issue for me.

What are the deposit size caps?

It has been changing and is somewhat fluid, so I'll just link to their info. The deposit cap is for mobile deposits, larger checks can be deposited by mail.

They are great to work with thus far. That is what Stripe Atlas hooks you up with. I even have a debit card that can be used for card present purchases.

Interesting to learn that's who Stripe Atlas uses. I also heard Gust may be partnering with them for their Accelerator offering. Seems legit.

If you are considering Azlo, I'd highly suggest also looking at https://banknovo.com. A no-monthly minimum business checking account with deep integrations into Stripe (They're the first Verified Stripe partner for a business bank)

Yes. I currently use them for my business. Their support team has Ren responsive when I’ve reached out, and despite them not having all the bells and whistles I like them.

I started with a US bank that offered a big bonus. Neutral experience, but I wouldn't recommend (except for the $1k bonus they offered).

Considered Azlo, but ultimately moved to Mercury - They offer 1% interest, seems like Azlo does not.

They both seem leaps and bounds better than your traditional small-business US bank account.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check out Mercury, as well. Hadn't heard of it.
