Has engineering-as-marketing been effective for you?
I've started some new engineering-as-marketing activities for my SaaS. Ex. my SaaS is built on Notion, so I've been building other free tools for Notion.
I enjoy making them, but it's too early to judge their effectiveness. I'm wondering if others have had success getting traction with this approach and how they've made this strategy successful.
So, do you do engineering-as-marketing for your business? Is it effective?
In My situation, it works extremely well. They generate thousands of visitors a month and hundreds of registrations.
It’s directly related to our product. In fact, it’s like a small piece of our product has been made free for use and people love it.
