Hate Piracy? 😫
Makers do hard work to develop a product & earn from it.
But sadly, there are a lot of websites on the dark web selling/giving-free pirated books, courses & other digital products.
Can there be an application that:
- scan the web & finds all pirated contents for your original work
- Notifies the website owner, domain provider & hosting providers with DMCA notice
- Keep track if the content is removed or not.
- If not, send another DMCA notice.
What do you think?
I don't hate piracy at all. It allows me to do a proper research before buying stuff.
When I'm in doubt, I just download whatever I'm interested in and decide if it's worth the money.
Most of the time it's not worth it, because I only pirate when in doubt.
As for your question, set up Google Alerts for your name and your product exact name and receive an email whenever Google finds it somewhere on the web.
When you find something, report it everywhere, including DMCA.
Yes, adding google alert, report it everywhere, including DMCA is the part that can be automated. Not everyone knows about it.
I'm sure there are produces/services at least for bigger corp
I know there are relatively cheap plagiarism services (similar concept of service)
And you can probably just have Google search notify you on new results
To some sites you can send 100 DMCAs if you want
When your chasing the birds your not tending the fields
Try to think pragmatically when it's worth it
Your not going to put a dent in piracy solo, it doesn't cost them anything to create another copy and some setups are partially immune to DMCAs unless you put big money to Chace them down
It's different if you find it on big western sites vs on P2P links in terms of taking it down, like you can get stuff delisted from search engines

Piracy cannot to stopped entirely, so will there be a service that tries to defend those pirated websites 247365 without you spending any time on it.
