Have there ever been Indie Hacker meetups in San Francisco or nearby?
If not, I could be co-organizer if I could get some other people interested and anyone has venue ideas. Of all places we should have one here in SF!

Plenty! We usually have one or two SF meetups per month. Keep an eye on the upcoming meetups list (which is, admittedly, fairly empty at the moment due to the holidays).
Ahh good to know, thanks. I'll watch for them. I actually am a meetup organizer on the actual meetup site (which I'm paying
$80 or so a year for), so if one happens, we could list it there as well in hopes that we get more people.
