Have you ever tried creating an Indie Hackers style site for your niche?
I'm doing some research on IH-style communities and it'd really help to get data from you on the following:
- Have you ever tried to start an IH-style link-sharing community?
- What market were you trying to attract with this site?
- What were you trying to accomplish by creating this site?
Thanks, it will really help as I'm working on something new that might be relevant.
Currently doing this for a Euro Travel community - it's (once again) in the development stages. Not really sure how to gain traffic yet, but planning on following Cortland's original blueprint of interviewing (in my case) travelers who've been to or are planning trips to Europe and posting the interviews and doing podcasts...but it's very time consuming and i find i never have time :)
Interesting. Is there an interview site already?
by me? sadly not yet. There is a broken not-finished site that i pushed a while back...then life and day-job took up my time and i went back to the drawing board. (https://eurotripr.com/ for what it's worth)
