Have you hired somebody after your side project start growing?

So my question appeared from curiosity because I see a lot of indie hackers continue solo working, without hiring somebody.
Why asking? Also, I see a lot of talks around delegation. And want to understand what "gold middle" is.
So, what was the point when you decided to delegate? Who you hired first?
Yes.
Hired a freelance developer to build out some new functionality.
It's a per project hire and not a permanent hire.
I have limits on my coding abilities.
And while I can continue to learn, I'm the bottleneck to this next round of updates where I'll be testing a paid version.
I need to expedite the paid experiment.
I've been sitting on it for too long.
I'm making that investment to hire because I'm seeing solid growth and people are really digging the app.
It gives me confidence to make that financial investment.

Near zero on marketing at the moment.
I've done some SEO and ASO to rank well with a few keywords.
That's really been it for how I've driven traffic.
I do get these random traffic spikes but I can't find out how or why.
Guessing people are circulating it somewhere that's driving random traffic spikes.
Once I get the paid subscriptions live, I plan to make the next push focused on marketing/driving traffic.
