Have you lost interest as you've gained customers?

Weird one but hoping this is a common type of milestone.

I've had my best month yet (7 new customers) and since December I've had around 4 or 5 new customers per month.

However, I'm now starting to lose interest and have even started 2 other projects and thought about how I can break my main one into smaller projects.

Is this normal, to lose interest? I'm thinking it might be a fear of success/failure type thing or maybe I just need a break.

Think i need a moral boost or something

Hey Grainger, who are the types of customers you're getting? E.g. Are you serving real estate agents with your business/software and actually really dislike working with them.

    Product/founder fit is a real thing 🤔

No my customers are decent, I probably only get 2 support emails per month so interaction is low.

I was working on one of my other projects this evening it it felt nice. Maybe I'm just bored IDK

Gotcha. So what's boring you specifically? The product itself? The problem you're solving? Or you not sure?

Little update: since starting my other projects I've been jotting down ideas for my main money making project and I've actually done a spec for improvements across this board.

Also, some of my positioning and messaging has become clear and the same with pricing strategies.

I'm now feeling much more focused.

I think the other projects loosened up my creativity a little and along with the break and the note taking I feel back on track 😁

The most fun for a lot of people is the hard part, and that is very common, people love to feel productive and work towards a goal then when the challange is gone they want some new challange

Yes. This week my MRR has been the best it has ever been, yet I'm lazier than ever.

There's a little burnout, a little "arrival syndrome."

Can't relate lol. That's crazy motivation you have right there.

I'm guessing you're burned out, so take a break and see what happens.

I worked on a HR product.

After getting the first sale, Our team realized we have to do a lot of Customisation to succeed initially.

When we got another Customer, I asked my co-founder - What's the plan. He said let's not do it.

Interestingly after 2 weeks, I got about 3-4 Customers saying they are interested as well( I had sent the cold email long back)

But then we both had lost interest within the first month.

Now here is why - we both weren't passionate about the HR industry. If you don't have passion, you can't succeed.

    That's what I learned :)

If you're having passion, you know the Industry and there is early traction - Stick with it.
