I'd say Carrd is not really a direct competitor to the landing page builder I'm building - Unbounce & Instapage focus more on conversion rate optimization, and that's really where I'm trying to compete. Have you used either of those professionally as a marketer?

Thanks for reaching out! Just so I can make sure we're the right fit, have you used any conversion-focused landing page builders like Instapage, Unbounce etc? And are you currently a marketer, or have you worked as a marketer in the past?
I've tried many but always went back to coding or using more generic open source options.
I think I'm not the target as I'm too specific wanting full control and specific tweaks, probably not the best qualities to actually get stuff done, but it is me.
Completely fair - curious which ones you've tried. Have you ever used any conversion-rate optimization landing page builders like Unbounce/Instapage? Also curious to know what kind of control and tweaks you're not able to get without custom code
I've usually used more generic platforms sometimes with templates, like wordpress with a LP template, several no-code platforms I can barely remember, I did try some unknown named LP specific page generators/platforms that IDK if still exist nor would I probably remember
it starts cute, ok we are 80% of the way with several clicks, so now comes like how do I integrate analytics - if there are options usually not what I want, ok how do I change the meta description - usually doesn't exist, how do I manipulate these meta tags - I'm asking for too much, would be nice to have some JS widget - no way,
I know I want too much, it's not for me, you trade options for ease/speed, doesn't work for me, I would always find something either new or obscure I want, social network tags, integrate AI, prove identity on webmaster tools or something else
I always decide something specific is way more important than saving the time with the service, might be too technical/ not in the correct mindset of save time as a business and move on
All that sounds reasonable to want, and is usually offered by landing page builders for marketers (Unbounce/Instapage/Leadpages). The price for these tends to be much higher than the generic templates or platforms, but the functionality is there since marketers tend to care about how many people are actually clicking and taking certain actions on their landing pages.
