Have you worked on Traceability Systems? I need your help!

I am looking for experienced hackers that have worked on Food Traceability gigs (Restaurants, Food Supply Chain, Farm Management Systems, ERPs).

My main idea is about creating either an open traceability system or serve small and medium scale business to implement their traceability programs easily.

What do you think? What could make it difficult? Who should I talk to?
