Having trouble validating idea.

I launched https://soundportals.live about a month ago as I saw an opportunity to empower the creatives in the space as well as give listeners a solid place to listen to soundscapes and other kinds of relaxing and productivity-focused noise/music.

And although I have been able to retain a decent number of users, I struggle to get creators on the platform. Many do not reply to emails and/or comments. Thus its difficult to know how to change the platform to suit them better.

What do you guys think about this?

I would advice to suit your end users (listeners) first. Once creators know their target audience converges around your platform you have a much better change of attracting creators.

I guess the question is what value does a creator get from being on your site? Why would they want to be published there? What do they get in return?

Do you plan to monetize it and get subscribers or license songs out to people who work in post production, or both? I think these are things worth considering that would attract creators. There'd have to be some transaction involved for them to come together and share their music on a new platform.

Unlikely, the issue is the kind of content this platform aggregate is not that lucrative. I was thinking, something simple along the lines of "sharing" ad revenue.

Just a quick note - 3 people told me they couldn't use it on there phone as its not mobile friendly aka responsive.
This is a big issue - as for that reason they didn't even came back to test it on a pc.
