He Dropped Out at 22 to Reinvent Website Redesigns with AI

At 22 years old, Xavier Berard from Montreal made a bold decision: he left his Computer Science degree to build Rewebly, an AI-powered website redesign platform.

Xavier had noticed a frustrating pattern. Founders and small businesses were stuck with outdated websites that didn’t reflect the quality of their work. Redesign quotes ranged from $8,000 to $15,000, with timelines stretching months. For many, that simply wasn’t realistic. Worse, traditional redesigns often meant rebuilding from scratch and losing brand identity in the process.

In January 2025, Xavier decided to solve the problem himself. He built Rewebly as a solo, bootstrapped founder, creating an AI platform that transforms existing websites into modern, professional versions—while preserving their content, branding, and unique character.

The launch validated the idea. On November 18, 2025, Rewebly went live on Product Hunt, gaining 500 users within 24 hours and ranking #20 among more than 500 launches that day.

Today, Rewebly has over 500 registered users, 1,800+ visitors, and its first paying customers. Operating with minimal costs and no marketing budget, Xavier continues refining the product, focused on one mission: helping businesses modernize their websites in minutes, not months.
