Hey everyone! I'm excited to share my latest project with the community - QuietNet, a privacy-first DNS service that blocks ads and malware at the network level.
What is QuietNet?
QuietNet is a premium ad-blocking DNS service with servers in 9+ global locations. Instead of relying on browser extensions that can be bypassed, we stop ads and trackers before they even reach your device by blocking malicious domains at the DNS level.

Why I Built This
Most people don't realize their browsing habits are constantly tracked and sold by ISPs and "free" DNS services. They don't understand why privacy matters until it's too late. QuietNet gives everyone simple privacy protection and ad-blocking without needing technical expertise.
Unlike browser ad-blockers that only work in specific browsers, DNS-level blocking protects every device on your network - from your smart TV to your phone apps.

You're right: "no logging" is easy to claim, but hard to prove. We're definitely interested in pursuing third-party audits to give our users peace of mind. If you have any suggestions for auditors or organizations we should consider, we’d love to hear them.
Transparency reports are definitely on our roadmap too. We want to share as much as possible about how the service is run, what (if any) requests we get, and how we handle them.

Nice. Privacy first services are quite few out there. There are also some services who claim to be privacy first but are not really, behind the scenes. How should customers really trust that this service is really privacy first? Also, the ads on youtube are really annoying. Does this service really block ads on youtube? If so, how does it bypass their ad-blocker tracker?
It's good to see that some founders / builders still value privacy but very few are actually building the true services that do what the founders say.

You’re absolutely right to be skeptical after all a lot of services say they’re privacy-first but don’t walk the talk.
For us, privacy isn’t a marketing buzzword. We don’t log DNS queries (unless you explicitly opt in for certain analytics features), we don’t use trackers, and we never sell or share your data. We keep things simple, transparent, and let our actions speak for themselves.
As for YouTube ads, DNS blocking can’t fully stop them, since the ads come from the same domains as the actual videos. We can block some tracking around it, but for full ad blocking on YouTube, you’d still need a browser extension.
That said, DNS-level blocking gives you broader coverage: it protects not just your browser, but your mobile apps, smart TVs, desktop software, and IoT devices, things browser adblockers miss entirely.

That's an interesting tool. I would recommend that you improve your landing page with a PAS (Problem - Agitate - Solution) block. The current one is too generic, and it's not clear why someone should stick to your paid platform instead of using Adblock or similar extensions.
