Help! Best cloud account service for lots of little transactions?

I am launching this service this spring: http://www.WeightWagerApp.com Users make a weekly money bet on themselves that they will lose weight. Each week the app will generate a lot of small transactions between users through Paypal - so Paypal will have a record of these transactions which is good - BUT I really need an accounting software that tracks all of it as well for fiduciary organization and tax purposes.
Is there a good cloud/SaaS accounting service for lots of little transactions that you can recommend? That is small business friendly? (low cost). I found PatriotSoftware.com but I am not sure if it is exactly what I am looking for...

Thank you for providing Xero.com - I will check it out! Question - are there any other services you know of like Xero.com??
The third component you have to take into account is invoicing. Almost all online accounting service has API or naturally integrates to Paypal and provide invoicing capabilities. So you can reconcile transactions. I used http://xero.com successfully in a similar situation.
