Help finding target market
I'm having trouble finding people in my target market for JobBoard.Best - I specifically want to talk to recruiters working at small to mid-sized startups and tech companies. I haven't found any forums or any specific communities so far. I know there's a recruiting subreddit, but it's not specific to this niche.
Any ideas?
As was mentioned, try LinkedIn. To search recruiters you could try to search "Recruiter" in People category (you can add more filter such as specific company, job title, industry, location).
Also, you can try specific recruitment agencies/companies and filter them by the number of employees. Choose an agency and select among its employees that match your requests.
After connecting with some of them, you could view their connections: I guess there also will be people you're looking for.
Yeah that makes sense, it's just difficult to actually talk to recruiters on LinkedIn. What I've tried to do so far is find their emails and start a conversation that way.
The flip side is that running a smoke test is very difficult as well. LinkedIn ads are expensive.
LinkedIn is where recruiters tend to hang out.
I've tried finding people on there, it's just very time consuming because you aren't able to message anyone freely. So far I've had to search for Recruiters and then go to Hunter.io to try to figure out their email address, which takes a long time.
