Help: How are you building landing pages fast?

I would like to reduce my time to market when it comes to landing pages, and for this reason, I would like to know what has been working for you?

Thanks in advance.

I'm using https://www.loopple.com for this job. Pretty easy to use, just drag and drop your components and they will generate all the HTML and CSS for you. They also have a free version as far as I know.

I see https://carrd.co/ being thrown around a lot but I'll admit that I haven't used it.

Thanks for mentioning it, I haven't used it either. I'll check it out.

I just created two landing pages in a couple of hours, having really never used the tool before. It's quick to pickup and offers just enough flexibility if you're looking for something simple. If you want more customization on look/feel of the page then another low code tool like Webflow might be a different option to consider. If you have little knowledge of website building, carrd is a great option in my experience.

Bit of a shameless plug here but we created 12 templates for this exact reason. To make it easier for people who want to launch ASAP get a simple site up and running with Webflow.

Feel free to check it out: https://www.roflow.co/12-templates-12-weeks

    Hope it helps :)

Hey @rohan210801, Thanks for sharing, I'll take a look.

As a fellow developer with no artistic background, I was stuck designing my webpage for the longest time. What helped me a lot was:

    1. Going through Refactoring UI. It is a quick read and totally improved my UX skills in a few days.

    2. Create very simple wireframes (I used Balsamiq Wireframes for this). This is just a rough overview of what "shape" your webpage will take. Doesn't even have to be styled and can just be simple boxes outlining what components your website will use. What helped me at this stage was looking through various competitor websites or websites with the same features as you to get inspiration.

    3. I used a combination of TailwindUI + DaisyUI to quickly create the components for the wireframe. What's nice about both of those is that you can quickly create nice components by copy pasting the sample and tweaking it to your liking.

      Hi @WinchesterSwain,

Thanks for your reply, and for sharing your experiencer.

I had never heard of Refactoring UI, I'll definitely read it because I do need to refresh my UX knowledge.

You might check out Tailwind UI templates. You can get a nice clean one-pager, already designed and coded, and launch it on something like Netlify for free.

You can get the solo template for $99, or you can get all access and get all the other components as well for $299. Not bad!

check templates available online, buy , modify accordingly.

You can Carrd for this. It's much like much like Squarespace or WordPress but the only difference is it is used to make one page websites.

A fantastic job was don on Flash Funds https://flashfunds.app

Hi, did you design it yourself?

Looks like you want to build it for software (and most likely want a pricing table)

    Try https://versoly.com/

It comes with a code editor so no learning curve and 300+ components so you can create a great looking site without a designer (but if you want a designer later on they can easily come in and spice it up).

Hi @volkandkaya, thanks for your reply. I'll give Versoly a try, it looks promising.

I couldn't help but to notice that you are the founder of Versoly, :) out of curiosity what's your backend stack?

How fast is fast? Carrd is a great option (as mentioned already). But for longevity, go with something like WordPress.

Check out my landing page for GapScout. It does pretty well. I'm using:

    1. Kadence Theme (free)
    2. Elementor (free & pro version available)
    3. ConverKit

That's it, besides hosting - which is SiteGround. The whole configureation took about 6-8hrs I would say.

The benefit here is that I own the entire site (as it's WordPress), I can change anything I need over time, which I intend to do once the product is ready for beta testers. Also, my content marketing SEO benefits the primary domain - something that isn't the case with Carrd, for example.

    It depends

    • If you're a not a developer or not so comfortable with coding then go for a No-Code landing page builder
    • If you're ok with coding but don't wanna spend time configuring stuff then use a landing page builder made for developers. Versoly looks promising - but never tried it
    • For more flexibility use NextJs + Tailwind CSS

Hi 👋, thanks for your reply.

I am a developer, and I struggle to invest time on designing a landing page, it doesn’t come natural which makes me wasting too much of my very limited time.

I haven’t looked at Tailwind, but I am willing to consider it so long it reduces my time to market.

What sort of landing pages are you building?

    1. 1

I am building a landing page for a software product I am working on.

My biggest struggle is the fact that I don’t have a designer, I know I am not alone in such condition, and for this reason I wanted to understand how are you guys managing it.
