Hi fellow Indies!
I had an idea last week and whipped up a quick proof-of-concept to see if it was feasible, then posted a video on Reddit to see if there was interest: https://www.reddit.com/r/Notion/comments/nko4sw/it_works_notion_events_in_google_calendar/
It seems like there was interest, but I'm wondering what I should do next (aside from building an actual product, which I've started a little). Some thoughts:
- I followed up with some commenters to find out a little more about their intended use cases, one thing that concerns me a little is a good number are students i.e. might not be willing to spend. The mom test suggests that asking the money question directly isn't likely to give good data, so should I just go full steam ahead on building? What could I validate next?
- I would love to follow-up with every single commenter, would getting an email so I can send updates be the best approach?
- I'm not sure how exactly to continue stoking the embers - the subreddit rules don't allow promoting paid products, so I'm not sure I can post development updates (though I probably can ask the mods directly)
