Help me makeover my tech stack?

Hey there! My name is Claire and I'm the (non-technical) founder of Nutritional Freedom. We help women ditch diets and get healthy for good through coaching, community, and curriculum.

Some mentors have suggested we try to improve our tech stack/workflow before rushing to build our own product. Looking for some suggestions on alternatives or additions to address some of our struggles, most notably with MightyNetworks.

1. Mighty Networks

What we use it for:
This is our central hub-- where people pay to become members, access courses, interact with the community, chat, access group coaching calendar via their Events feature

What we like about it:

  • Community and Events features are great
  • Easy for members to download MN app to iPhone or Android

What we don't like:

  • Lack of control over UX, especially user onboarding (feels very overwhelming at first)
  • Lack of flexibility in payment options (no discount codes, multi-month package incentive, etc.)
  • Course-style delivery of education. Would like member's homepage to be a bite-sized lesson for the day and to be able to create different user journeys. Currently members have to seek out education and sit down to dig into a course and every member follows the same education flow.
  • If we want to include forms in course lessons, we have to link eternally to a Jotform or provide PDF downloads.
  • Lack of access to user data (though they say improvements here are on the roadmap)

2. ActiveCampaign
What we use it for: Email marketing and segmentation; email onboarding sequences and weekly reminders for active members

3. ClickUp
What we use it for: Manually tracking members' start dates, end dates, private coaching call booking, etc.

4. Calendly
What we use it for: Private coaching call scheduling

5. Jotform
What we use it for: Onboarding forms and educational "worksheets"

6. Zoom
What we use it for: Hosting and recording group coaching calls

7. Transistor
What we use it for: Private podcast where we upload audio from our group calls

Thank you for any feedback or suggestions!

First off are you using automations through a service like Zapier or Integromat?
Lots of options here. Could go with Webflow for full creativity of your site. Could integrate with something like Memberstack or Memberspace. Or could use softr.io which has membership abilities built in.
I use a lot of Jotform but are using the automations it offers. That being said look at Tallyforms.
Most concerning is the lack of control of your data. With better control you can create easy web and mobile apps.
Lots of options, especially for consolidating and automating features.
