Help me pick some colors!

I'm adding Material design to my Android port of X-Wing AI and having a tough time deciding on colors that look great.

The iOS app uses the first color on this page, "Initiative". I would love to pick two colors that are close to the ones on that page but fit in with material design.

Any suggestions, ideas, or recommended tools would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. Material Color Tool is a huge help in adjusting contrast and and finding lighter/darker version!
