Help Me Transcribe My Videos About Programming
I've got a website with videos about programming from an indie-hacker point of view. I'd really like to also have text transcripts of each episode because that'll improve SEO.
This is just a part-time gig (there's a backlog of 10 videos, then one new video a week). The ideal candidate for the job is someone who is:
- a native English speaker (or non-native but with perfect grammar)
- wants to study/is studying/ or has studied computer science
Use otter.ai to do it with 95% accuracy.
I appreciate the suggestion, and I'd be perfectly happy if whoever I hired used a service like that behind the scenes. But I still need a human in the loop for the last 5% -- it's gotta be grammatical when it's on my website and connected with my brand.

@semicolonandsons - you probably have already done this, but you may want to find a really good writer on Upwork or ProBlogger, and have them work with a Transcriber.
One transcriber I use very often is this person:

She does really good work, but it (the work-product) still does need some editing/tweaking.
I've also worked with several writers/editors. While their end work-product is generally pretty good, I still usually need to do some form of edits.
The most significant edits I have to do are converting the transcription into a legitimate article format (headings, mobile readable, images, etc.).
If you're not trying to convert your audio directly into properly formatted article, it'll be a little easier.
Wish I could provide concrete referrals, but I haven't found anyone who delivers a 100% article end-product that I would publish.
