Help needed: best tool(s) to create an explainer video?

You could get screencasting software like iShowYou Instant and use it to record your microphone, computer audio, webcam video, and computer screen. It also has effects like showing users where you clicked with a blue/red circle. I'd recommend just doing that for now and look into hiring someone when you get ~$2000 budget.
