Help or Hurt
Hey all, I'm currently building the MVP for MakerList, a curated feed of indie maker content. I'm curious to know what you guys think about listing features that were being considered but not validated as necessary. I was also thinking of adding an upvote button next to each feature that way I can gauge interest, MakerList is free so I'm also concerned people will just like things they think they want rather than things they need...
Can you clarify who is this primarily for and why do they need it? I'm somewhat afraid that indie makers are an unstable crowd... it will be difficult to build a stable audience around their work. What do you think?

The target audience are Makers primarily those who are just starting. This will help people looking for valuable content related to developing a bootstrapped digital product.
Im not sure what you mean by "unstable". I personally see Makers as being difficult to characterize.
By "unstable" makers I mean people who start things and drop them after 1-2 months. That would make your site a sad cemetery for dead projects :( Maybe focus on collecting and organizing useful resources instead? Anyway - think about that.
Did you check out the site? The content being presented is created by "mature" makers, people who've successfully developed a high earning product.
Maybe highlight that on the front page.
