About to give the product a try, but before I do I thought I'd share a few initial reactions.
The landing page took me some time to wrap my head around what Trickle is promising. "Turn Your Digital Chaos into Gold" and "Your AI quick-recall sidekick transforms scattered information into accessible and insightful memories." are both a bit heady for me to understand quickly.
After reading a bit more of the page, I'm thinking "oh this is like how I use Readwise for books, but for everything I consume." Also reminds me of some of the promises of Building a Second Brain, but this tool might make it seamless (or even automatic!) to capture the content that impacts me. That's compelling.

Typo in Free Trial modal ("Start your free trail today!")
Once I'm in the product, I'm confused. The first screen says "Just drop whatever you’re thinking" but I'm not sure what thinking I should put here or how I "drop" something. I was expecting to install an extension or some way of having my AI bot along with me online, but perhaps I misunderstood.
I add a link of a website that I had open and now it's in my memories, but what do I do with it now? How is it better to add it here vs. Notion where I usually capture resources?
Also the "Ask AI to Capture" button makes me think some magic is going to happen, but it's really just a Submit that grabs a site's metadata.
I added a few more things to my account, but I'm feeling unclear on what Trickle is going to do for me. Would be useful to show new users a magic moment sooner. After a handful of adds, I'm still not clear why use Trickle vs. Notion.

Trickle's performance in webpage extraction has room for improvement, which is why we're honing our focus on screenshots in the upcoming iteration. Trickle truly shines when it comes to processing visual and textual information. Any product details or fragmented knowledge you come across can be shared with Trickle through screenshots or photos. Afterward, all you need to do is "Ask AI" to retrieve the information you require. Trickle AI, drawing from your Memories, will respond to your queries, even performing analysis or aiding in creative processes based on these snippets.
Additionally, we're in the process of developing both a client application and browser extension.

However, it's a bit regrettable that our initial version didn't quite meet your expectations spot-on. In fact, what we really aim to highlight is the automatic capturing of all sorts of information through screenshots – think snippets from articles, noteworthy product finds, or intriguing social media posts. The AI steps in to recognize and archive info from your screenshots, mimicking how our brains work – absorbing visually, recalling when needed, all without the organizational hassle.
