Help us help others! Looking for any and all feedback!

Hey all! I've been a lurker for a long time on IH, listened to countless podcasts, and now finally posting a thread for the first time.

My co-founder and I are looking for some feedback on our first draft of our landing page for our new project. Chronic pain and opioid addiction is a massive problem worldwide and we're looking to help. Our course gives people in chronic pain the knowledge and skills to take control of their pain.

Let us know what you think! We'd like to hear anything you got. Bring on the pain and roast us!

Hi @Tcope, the site looks great. Congratulations on your start.

My favorite part of the site is that you ask, "Are you frustrated by any of the following?" It ropes me in and makes me want to read more. And it shows that you understand your readers' problems.

The main question for me is whether it works? You could solve this by adding social proof.

For example: "Sally suffered with back pain for years. She tried every medication imaginable. After just 2 months of using New Frame, she is completely pain free."

Another example is: "Recommended by Dr. ____, head of the chronic pain group at ____ center."

If you don't have users, use your own example. If you suffered chronic pain, then feature yourself as a testimonial.

And if you don't have that, then reference what New Frame Your Pain is based on. For example, you could say, "Based on techniques developed at ___ University, which showed a 80% reduction in pain in just 3 months."

@Tcope, if these tips were helpful, then check out my website, SplashPad (https://getsplashpad.com). SplashPad helps you promote your product more effectively by suggesting marketing language that attracts attention and sells. In fact, these tips came straight from SplashPad. Good luck!

-The overall design does not scream quality. There are basic alignment issues, text on above the fold has multiple styles and needs more contrast, and there are too many font style changes.
-You have CTA's duplicated above the fold, and your design is not drawing attention to the CTA's.
-Multiple spelling errors, incorrect capitalization, etc.
-You need stronger copy. For example, in the "Are you frustrated" list "Confusion about what you're feeling" and "Nobody understanding what you're going thru" are vague statements that could mean almost anything.

When I view this page I see:

-A lack of quality that may indicate a company that is not reputable or one that is attempting to tackle a problem they are not qualified to take on
-A company that is not sure what action they want their site visitors to take
-A clear lack of branding / style guide
-Copy written by someone without copywriting experience.
