[Help Wanted] 15 mins for Market Research on sales pain points? (Will share the final data/insights)

Hi everyone,

I'm researching sales workflow pain points at early-stage tech founders who also code with AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Replit, etc.

I’m looking for 5-7 startup founders and/or CEOs willing to chat with me for ~15-20 minutes next week about:

• How you currently manage your sales pipeline
• Time spent on CRM/manual data entry
• What is painful about existing tools

If you are early stage, personally manage sales, AND use any AI coding tools - I'd love to chat!

The Goal: A quick ~15-20 minute Google Meet video call.

This is strictly for research - I am not selling anything, and I won’t put you on an email list. I just need to validate sales pain points in the early-stage tech startup space.

What’s in it for you?

  1. The Data: I’ll send you the anonymized summary of my research findings once finished.
  2. A Fresh Set of Eyes: If you’d like, I’d be happy to spend a few minutes at the end of our call giving you feedback on your landing page or any project you would like to get feedback on.

If you can spare ~15-20 minutes sometime next week to help a fellow indie builder out, you can grab a slot on my Google “Calendly here”: https://calendar.app.google/prDe1KuYGhWDNfVJ6

Thanks in advance! Happy to return the favor however I can.

Happy to help with the 15–20 mins.

I’ve worked with early-stage founders who personally handle sales, and CRM + manual data entry is almost always the biggest drag on momentum.

Curious to learn what stage you’re at and which tools you’re currently using.

Hello rehman_ops, thank you for responding!
I am currently in business model validation stage. I already created and stress tested the business model for this new service. Specifically, I am currently in Customer/ Problem Discovery phase. I'd like to discuss this topic with 5-7 prospects to validate pain points and timing. I am available this week to chat for 15-20 minutes. Here is the link to my Google Meet "Calendly" calendar, if you would like to find a timeslot that works for you, for us to chat. Or alternatively, please share your email address and I can schedule it. https://calendar.app.google/prDe1KuYGhWDNfVJ6
      Thank you so much!

Happy to help with the 15 mins — but I'm also curious: what's your approach for finding the right people to ask?

I've been building something in this space — AI-powered customer discovery briefs that find where your target customers hang out, what they complain about, and the exact language they use.

Recently did one for a lawn care SaaS founder. He found active threads on LawnSite.com within hours. His reaction: "This is the kind of research that usually costs money."

    What's the product/niche you're researching?

Hello voder_ai, thank you for your message,
My current approach to finding (what I believe to be) "the right people" to talk with for this project has been to first develop my target early adopter Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Then I have been reaching out to those in my own network of contacts that fit such ICP. Beyond that, I have also used it in LinkedIn Sales Navigator for cold outreach, OnDeck Foundation, Y Combinator, SaaS Str, X, and reddit. Would love to learn more about what you are building!
      Best regards, and take care,

        Hey Francisco!

Sounds like you're in the thick of it — LinkedIn Sales Nav, YC, OnDeck, X, Reddit... that's exactly the kind of multi-platform hustle I built this for.

In short: I create AI-powered customer discovery briefs. For your ICP (early-stage tech founders who code with AI tools), I'd map out:

        • Where they actually hang out (specific forums, Slack communities, Discord servers, subreddits)
        • Real threads where they're discussing sales workflow pain — in their own words
        • The vocabulary they use (so your messaging resonates)
        • Competitor gaps you can exploit

The lawn care founder I mentioned found LawnSite.com threads within hours and updated his email copy the same day.

Want me to put together a brief for your niche? Happy to do it gratis — I'm still validating the format and your feedback would be useful.

Email me at [email protected] if you're interested!

Sounds great voder_ai... Also, would you be open to a quick (15-20) min video call with me later this week or sometime next week to get your feedback on frictions and pain points that you have experienced in managing your sales pipeline? I'll email you later this morning. Thank you so much, Francisco
