To me it sounds a bit like "con" as in "con man" and "ctl" is like "ctrl", so it's a bit like "con control" :)

Haha, that's what I'm afraid of. But then we have a very famous conference: KubeCon.
Good names are usually easily pronounceable + people can generally agree on a pronunciation - the "nctl" part of your name is really not easy to say. Putting more vowels in there might help.
Since I'm not sure how to say it, it gets hard to associate it with anything.

Thanks for your help. I'm hoping it reminds users of KubeCTL. It's actually pronounced Con CTL. And con as in Container.
It's a platform for managing any workload running on Containers, mainly Kubernetes and, in case of AWS, ECS.
Got it! It's technical beyond my knowledge, maybe people that are familiar with it would get it.
I would still try to go for something more "spreadable" tho. Think names such as GitHub, docker, snowflake, Ruby and so on. Mixing names and acronyms is usually not great.
But hey, it always depends on your public! Try to run the name around with some people you know would use and see what they think. Good luck!
