Helping non-tech users to deploy an open source project with Docker or any container tech

Hi everyone,

Container technology helps developers deploy their app in various environments easily.

I wonder if there is any platform that help non-tech people to deploy an app in the cloud with just a click of a button?

Thank you.

Although Heroku is considered an easy platform to deploy containerized applications within a few clicks but the majority of developers are not happy with its high pricing. Even Heroku has turned all of its freemium offerings into paid services since November 2022.

However, if you want a damn easy solution then I can also suggest Back4app. Yes, the container services of this cloud service provider are surely seamless to use. Especially if you are building a Python app and willing to deploy it in a containerized environment, simply follow this https://blog.back4app.com/how-to-build-and-deploy-a-python-application/ detailed guide.

This platform also enables novice developers to link their GitHub account with it and deploy an application in the containerized environment within a few clicks only. Luckily, it is free to signup here and you can also go with a freemium plan. You can also choose Azure and AWS if you understand these platforms.

At the moment, to deploy an open source project to the cloud. Users have to plough through readme and set up their environment. This requires a lot of technical knowledge even for developers who aren't familiar with the tech stack of the project. Meanwhile, not all open source projects are containerized and ready to be deployed anywhere. So I wonder if there is any platform that can bridge this gap.
