I'm a product manager and an ex-entrepreneur.

I have seen people building products without understanding the user needs(sometimes there's none), while it is fun building something but the harsh truth is when nobody is using your product the pain is enormous(financially and mentally).

One of the fastest and easiest ways to get awareness about your product, and some early believers is to build a community. Though I'm not saying it is some magical formula to get to product-market-fit(or whatever you want to call a success).
