My personal favourite was TextScout, but I guess as long as we are using a descriptive name, TextPicker is more correct. So that will be its name. I have registered textpicker.com which luckily was available for $12. Thanks everyone for your help, I have been putting this off for far too long.

I really liked the following names:
Easily conveys the usage of the tool, thus making it easier for the people to remember.
Also, it might help in SEO a little bit, not sure though!

From the list you provided, if I were to choose one I would pick TextDetector or TextPicker (like @patrics suggested).
The reason why is the same as his. Your target audience needs to feel attached to the problem by the name - the first thing they see.
I like texcavator... but I like textavator more - so, I'm not helping at all lol

Mostly because I feel the use case is highly specific and the Name should immediately convey what the tool does.
Well it's specific in that all it does is take the text you have and turn it into the text you want. But that covers a wide area of use cases, doesn't it?
