Here we go B2B!

First to post in the group!

Nice to see we have a place to mingle for those of us that are interested in B2B. Maybe to open the group and get some insightful convos going we can get to know each other better??

At my end, I have been in the B2B industry selling products, and services, as well as PAAS. I started from a sales position and managed to climb my way up until a CEO position.
I specialise on agile Management methods, and strategic revenue growing as well as on tapping on large Fortune 500 companies for clients.

I love pizza, my dog and skateboarding too 😝

Any body else out there to make this group rock??

I agree that B2B has so much more potential for a good income, currently I have created a ERP specially for plastic injection manufacturing, however I face some trust issues from potential clients since currently I have no clients

That sounds like an amazing project. Actually it’s a pitty that I do not live in China any longer, there are lots of companies doing plastic injection, and they defo could use that

I live in Indonesia, and a lot of companies here are doing plastic injection, however I still have no clients considering the time and effort for an existing company to change their whole system :/ considering your background as a sales rep, do you have some insights to share? :p

Right, that's definitely an advantage for you, so make sure to leverage it then.

How I would go about it will be something like this. Also as a remark this is usually hard work, but I can tell you if you stick to it long enough, you will get your opportunities.

          1. First, must understand why they need to change the ERP, or to get your ERP system. So pretty much what problem you are solving.
          2. Then, come up with a list of companies that are doing this service, if you could start on your region or country the better. Then get their information, at least email, and if you feel confident over the phone get their phone number too. You can find some of this info though their sites, or using email scrappers for LinkedIn and websites like hunter.io
          3. Once you have a list of potential candidates, I will come up with an outreach strategy combining cold mail, in mail (LinkedIn) and phone calls, and even better go to visit them if possible. The strategy have to have no less than 5 touchpoints.
          4. Once you have the strategy ready, then come up with a compiling copy, being nice, but stating that if they don't choose your solution, they will still suffering the Pain.
          5. Make sure to keep up with the cadence you decide for the sequence, and keep contacting them, if you run out of leads in your country then move to the next one.

As stadted above this will take some time, but keep it up and eventually you will get infant of the right customer.

Also a remark, do not try to sell them on the outreach campaign, just make sure they give you a chance to have a meeting to discuss your solution. On that meeting you can discuss details and aim for the next steps like closing.

Let me know if any other question!

Thank you so much for the insights! Means a lot :)

I'm really glad for this group! I feel like most hackers focus their attention on B2C, when B2B has a much better potential for steady income!

I think the same as you. I'm quite new to the space but I did found out that the main focus got towards B2C. In my case I've been in B2B most of may career and it can be very lucrative indeed!

first coment at site, i have a lot of interesting about b2b saas or micro saas, im learning no code now, but i guess my most difficult now is to see a oportunit to make a b2b saas, is very easy to have revanue and have a good LTV, but i dont know what nich can i act.

i talked with a freind and he said that the most part of b2b saas creators is a employee who see an oportunity, but i already have my business and i really dont see oportunities in other niches buceuse i dont work with them.
