Hesitating between centering my product around tech in general or programming

I am building a newsletter and was wondering if I should center it around technology in general or tech and programming. I'm afraid that programming is a too specific niche of people but I would prefer to build it around coding. Is the programming community big?

I'm just a noob trying to build something people will actually use. Thanks for your help
