Hey everyone. I decided to build my own mockup tool. Here's the story behind it:

I built this because I was tired of wasting time in Photoshop just to make a half-decent screenshot look presentable. Most mockup generators felt bloated, slow, or way too limited. I wanted something instant, clean, and made for makers like us who just want to show off our product fast without pixel-pushing.

What’s unique about Pirax is the zero-friction flow — just upload a screenshot, and you immediately get a polished MacBook mockup with clean framing and a download-ready image. No signups, no templates, no fluff. It’s all about speed and simplicity.

I’m most proud of the fact that this whole thing was built, shipped, and launched in public in just a few days — and everything works, including Stripe payments and auto-generated mockups.

I have to announce that the journey doesn't stop here. I will be constantly dropping new features over the next three weeks. Those features will be:

• iPhone and iPad mockup support

• Custom background colors & gradients

• Branded watermark/logo overlays

• Full URL-to-mockup feature (paste a link, get the mockup instantly)
