I built EliteDrinking because every party I went to had the same problem: either nobody had the right card deck, or a drinking game app required everyone to pass around a single phone.
EliteDrinking runs entirely in the browser β everyone joins from their own phone with a 4-digit room code, no app download, no account required. It's grown to 22 different game modes now, from a classic card deck to social deduction rounds, dice bluffing games, and reaction tests.
Tech stack: React + TypeScript on the frontend, Node/Express + Socket.IO on the backend, hosted on a small VPS with Postgres for optional accounts. Built solo, mostly with Claude Code.
Would love feedback β especially from anyone who's tried building real-time multiplayer stuff before. What's the one thing that would make you actually try it with friends?
