I am just about ready to soft launch my second product of the year (2 of 6!!). I was stuck with a mental block and a strong lack of motivation on getting into building the last few weeks. Like I did almost nothing on building my solo products....
It happens to us all!!!
What do you do when you are lacking the motivation to build?

I'll go first:
I'm currently building boomerang.link, a bookmark manager with reminders built in. The idea is to be able to schedule a reminder for any bookmark/link you want.
This past week has been pretty crazy and hectic for me, but I was still able to break though some mental blockers.
This week, my tasks are:
- finished the time picker for users to select when their bookmark reminder get sent
- reformat my marketing site and publish it
- test that marketing site on mobile
- update the DNS records for the new app to be live

I've been building in public in IH and Twitter for the last 14 weeks and launched the alpha version on 31st March 2022. at vadelabs.
It's a no-code platform for API integrations. We have started with some of the most popular integrations like Github, Twitter etc. and would add more custom integrations going forth.
No code for APIs?? That seems very useful for the no-code world!
How do you like building in public?
PS: You gif videos loaded super slow for me. It made me thing that those boxes were empty for like 15 seconds. Might want to look into that! Are they very large files? If so, have your tried loading a smaller screenshot (like the first frame) first, to fill the box and show the content. Then loading the larger file size of the gif?
Building in Public has helped us inculcate a discipline that recently helped us land our first customer. It also motivates us in our journey to maintain consistency and has helped us get feedback.

I like this idea. My guess is you looked at your bookmarks and saw a running list of links you never re-opened? I just took a look at mine and saw about 15 I probably never looked back at. Is this going to be a web app?

I like the design of your site, very clean and spacious. The app screen shots look pretty nice too!
Do users have to save their items manually themselves, curating their own list of media for their freetime? Or are you able to do it automatically?
Manually. They can search for all media types and add to lists. Typical lists would be, "Movies I'd like to Watch" or "TV Shows Recommended by Josh".
You can share and collaborate on those lists with others.
Additionally, you can log activity as you say "Watch a movie". All activity is grouped for the week, month, year, all time. You can share those activity lists with others or look at other friends in the app to see their activity over time.

That is exactly how I started making Boomerang! I am a tab hoarder for sure, mostly because I wanted to be able to come back to those pages/bookmarks later on. But when my browsers would update, I would loose so many pages that I might have gone back to. When the time was right, or if I needed them for a project.
The MVP is up right now, it a working web app that you can save bookmarks into and schedule email reminders for when ever you want them. Just in the browser though, with PWA support for now. Soon plan to make a browser extension to make it even easier to save your bookmarks and use them across multiple devices.
I just created an account and played around. I like the UX for creating the bookmark and how it doesn't include the extra criteria (tags, description, scheduling).

Thanks for checking it out :) I tried to keep the "create a bookmark" flow to be simple. But still allowing the options to save any extra data you wanted with the bookmark (like the tags or descriptions)
