Create a CRUD App Easily.
Got an idea for inventory tracker? Turbo-charged todo list? CRM system? Do it all with ease. No coding necessary.
Create a Functional UI in Seconds.
Drag and drop. Or pick a template. Lay off the coding hat. We take care of the rest.
Make Your Spreadsheets More App-like.
Typing into spreadsheets is boring. Spice it up with interactive UI. No coding required.
is the one I would click on. The first seems like a fairly "solved" problem, and the last sounds like Airtable.
But making drag and drop UIs that actually look good on desktop/mobile is still hit-or-miss.
Thanks Jessime! I'd love to hear your thoughts on drag-and-drop UIs these days. What have you used, and what about them that you like/dislike?
p/s: my editor is more tap-tap-tap than drag-and-drop, but it'd be great to learn lessons from existing UIs.
I recently had a friend (not a programmer) who just made a personal website with Wix. When she sent it to me, she prefaced it with:
Also, I’m using https://anvil.works/ right now, and I’ve made a separate mobile template for the main page of my app, because the default responsive layout wasn’t functional.
Huh. Doesn't Wix provide responsive templates?
I took a look at anvil.works. The UI editor requires a wide screen to work with it seems. Does it matter to you if an editor can be used on a mobile/tablet?
I would like to follow-up with you via email, if you don't mind. I want to better understand your experience with building Hier using an app builder, and what you're looking for. Does that sound good? My email is in my bio.
Wix does, but she felt it was still “off”. I feel like I’ve seen the opposite too, where it looks good on mobile, but takes no advantage of the extra space on desktop. But I don’t remember where I’ve seen that.
And sure, shoot an email. I just added mine to my bio as well.
I agree with this one!
Thanks Juhae! Do you see yourself needing something like this?
Perhaps if it's for landing pages. Is that what the tool would do?
It can be, but that's not the tool's main value proposition. The tool is mainly used for rapid creation of functional CRUD UIs.
Say you have an idea for a very specialized todo-list, or a goal/habit tracking app, or even a chat app, you can use this tool to rapidly create a functional app by just putting together the UI elements you want.
interseting, im a developer and the only time I use a "rapid creation" tool is for an admin interface. I like using forest admin for that, so I'm probably not your target audience
Got it! Thank you for your response!
