So I've been working on a website for a while now: https://www.fixmybikeathome.com/ - and around $1000+ in transactions have been made through it and conversion rates are slightly above average for 'ecommerce sites'.
The problem? I'm struggling to figure out ways, outside of paid advertising, to get people to land on the page in the first place - in order to make the conversion. I say 'outside of paid advertising', because it is not sustainable given the cost of advertising and the small transaction fee that is taken per transaction.
I feel like what is really needed to bring traffic must be some sort of regular content. E.g. YouTube, blog posts, etc.
The issue with this is that I'm not familiar with the subject matter. I've tried reaching out to bicycle mechanics online, but there don't be appear to many bike mechanics by day/bloggers by night out there...
Ideas for how to bring in traffic??
Thanks for any comments.
Have you just tried to raise prices? Raise your fee, the total price etc. You may not notice a big drop in conversion rate.
Yes that has been tried, but no luck so far.
