In the real world a meetup or conference is a dynamic experience. One can move around to different groups and communicate on different levels. We wanted to capture this experience without the complexity of game-like world. Actual walking, spatial audio, non-functional graphics are all unnecessary.
That is why we built Hilbert Hotel π, a virtual hotel with an infinite number of rooms. A room can be created around a URL, which represents the topic for that room. Each group inside the room can have up to 7 people having an audio conversation. People can communicate between groups via text chat, emoji, or the podium.
We hosted a few events, and ran trials with friends. However, we have not yet found a good market fit. High appreciate any feedback. π
Hmm, sorry, but I canβt understand what itβs for. Hen, I need to communicate with one person; I just text them or call them if itβs urgent. If I have to communicate and solve some problem with more than one person, I create a chat or organize the video through zoom/skype. Sometimes we call each other via Viber/WhatsApp/telegram. So I see no reason for using a virtual hotel. I only like the real ones. The hotel is associated with some vacations and pretty pictures like here www.junglevistahotel.com. So I think your market will upgrade if you change the name.
