Hiring: Customer Support & Implementation Specialist - GHL for Tuco AI

Customer Support & Implementation Specialist — GoHighLevel (Full-Time, US Eastern Hours)

Company: Tuco AI — a US software company. We make an iMessage texting tool that runs inside GoHighLevel. Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week), long-term, direct hire.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM US Eastern. Fixed schedule, anywhere in the world.
If that's overnight in your time zone, only apply if you've sustained an overnight schedule before.

Benefits: Paid leave, your local public holidays, internet allowance after 90 days, year-end bonus.

Before you apply: 6 checkpoints. All 6 are mandatory.

Go through this list honestly. If any one is a "no," please don't apply — you won't pass the screening, and we don't want to waste your time.

☐ 1. English — written. You can write a reply to a US customer that needs zero editing. Correct grammar, natural tone, no AI. Your proposal will be judged exactly as written.

☐ 2. English — spoken and accent. You can talk on Zoom with a US business owner, camera on, and they understand you easily the first time. Neutral or light accent is fine. Heavy accent, reading from a script, or long pauses to find words is not. You must be able to follow fast, casual American speech.

☐ 3. GoHighLevel — hands-on. You have personally worked inside GoHighLevel for at least 1 year. Not watched videos — built things. Sub-accounts, contacts, custom fields, tags, pipelines, the Conversations tab.

☐ 4. Workflows — texting. You have built SMS/text workflows in the GHL workflow builder yourself: trigger → wait → send SMS → if/else → tag → next step. You can explain why each step is there.

☐ 5. Workflows — debugging with Execution Logs. You know where the Execution Logs are on a workflow, you've opened them for a real contact, and you can read them to answer "did the message actually send, and if not, where did it stop?" If you've never opened Execution Logs, this is a no.

☐ 6. US Eastern hours. You can hold 9 AM – 6 PM US Eastern, Monday–Friday, as your permanent schedule — not "for the first month." If this is nighttime where you live, you have already worked a sustained overnight schedule for a US employer for months, not days. Tell us where and for how long.

If all 6 are "yes," keep reading.

What the job is

Three parts. Roughly half your shift on support, a third on setup, and one protected day a week making videos.

Part 1 — Support (answer customers)

You are the first reply on every support ticket, email, and Slack message. Reply within 1 hour, every time.
Answer "how do I" questions about Tuco inside GoHighLevel.
When a customer says "my contact is in the workflow but nothing shows in Conversations," you open the Execution Logs and the Tuco logs, find out what actually happened, and tell them. No guessing.
If it's a real bug, write a clean ticket for our engineer: steps, contact ID, screenshots, timestamps.

Part 2 — Setup (install Tuco for new customers)

Follow our checklist: install Tuco in the customer's GHL sub-account, connect the line, build their first text workflow, test it with a real contact, confirm the message sent.
Build one clean "reference workflow" the customer can copy to other accounts.
Run short (20–30 minute) onboarding calls on Zoom from a script. You'll shadow the founder first.
Big integration calls (HubSpot, Pipedrive) go to a separate specialist — you just schedule them.

Part 3 — Videos (so we need fewer calls)

Record short screen-recorded tutorials (3–8 minutes) for our YouTube channel and help center. Your voice, your screen.
Rule: any question that comes up on two calls becomes a video.
Publish 1–2 videos a week with a title, description, and a matching help article. Link them in support replies instead of booking a call.
Basic editing only: trim, cut, captions. Loom, Descript, ScreenPal, or CapCut.
Also needed
Customer support experience for a software product or agency clients, in English, with US customers
Comfortable recording your voice explaining software on screen
Reliable fast internet (25 Mbps+), backup plan for power/internet outages, quiet room, webcam, USB or headset mic

Nice to have (not required)
GoHighLevel Certified Admin
Tutorial videos you've already made (link them)
Zapier / Make
Crisp, Intercom, or Zendesk
Worked at an agency managing client sub-accounts
This job is NOT
A general VA job — no calendar, no admin, no social media
Copywriting — customers bring their own text
Sales — no quotas, no cold calls
Why take it
Direct with the founder, online the same hours as you
Stable US client, paid on time every month through this platform
You build the support function from scratch — no existing team to fit into
Grows into Head of Customer Success as we grow
How to apply

Your proposal must contain all 7 items below, numbered 1–7. Incomplete proposals are not reviewed.

  1. One Loom link, 3–5 minutes. Camera on, screen shared, no script. Set the Loom to "anyone with the link can view." This one video tests checkpoints 2, 3, 4 and 5 at once.

Open any SMS/text workflow in any GoHighLevel account (yours, a client's with names hidden, or a trial sub-account you build).
Walk through it step by step: the trigger, each action, each branch, and why it's built that way.
Open that workflow's Execution Logs. Pick one contact's run. Explain what the log shows: where the contact entered, which steps fired, where it waited or stopped, and how you'd use it to answer "did the text actually send?"
Finish by answering this customer out loud, like you're on a call with them: "I've got clients stacking up and your tool is just sitting there because I don't get the workflow builder. I need one hour to get this dialed in. Can you do that?"

  1. Written answer (your own words, no AI — tests checkpoint 1). A customer says their contact entered the workflow and should have gotten a text, but nothing shows in the GHL Conversations tab. List, in order, the first 5 things you would check.

  2. Your schedule history (checkpoint 6): your time zone, and where you've worked US Eastern hours before — employer, schedule, and dates.

  3. Internet speed test screenshot (attach or link).

  4. Your expected hourly rate.

  5. Optional: link to any GoHighLevel tutorial video you've already made.

  6. The word "snapshot" as the last line of your proposal, so we know you read this whole post.

What happens next

Within 5 days: we reply to everyone who sent the Loom and the keyword.
About 5 people: a paid 2-hour test inside a sandbox GHL account with Tuco installed — one broken workflow to find and fix, plus a 3-minute Loom explaining the fix to the customer. Paid as a small milestone at your rate.
Final: 30-minute video call with the founder → offer. About 10 days start to finish.

No Loom or no keyword = not reviewed.
