This is a good reminder that being fluent in English and being confident in professional conversations are two different things.

Someone can understand English very well but still struggle with speaking naturally, explaining things clearly, asking follow-up questions, or staying confident during a real business call.

I’ve been working on this myself by practicing conversations and using Confilens to get feedback on things like speaking pace, clarity, tone, and delivery. It’s helped me become more aware of how I actually communicate rather than just focusing on whether my English is grammatically correct.

For anyone preparing for this kind of role, I think practicing the actual speaking part not just learning vocabulary can make a big difference.

This actually sounds like a really practical role. A lot of people are comfortable with email or chat, but being able to speak naturally with U.S. companies, ask the right follow-up questions, and then clearly report back what happened is a different skill altogether.

I also like that the post is very clear about what the person would and wouldn’t be doing. It’s not random cold calling or pushing sales to strangers — the contacts, context, and purpose of each call are already provided. That makes the role feel much more focused and professional.

For someone with customer service, recruiting, account coordination, sales support, or even a tech background who is confident on the phone, this could be a pretty good fit.

Personally, I’d be interested in working together as well. The role sounds like something I could see myself being a good fit for, and I’d be happy to discuss it further.
