[hiring] front end dev with great UX/UI skills $75-$150/hr
Looking for an experienced senior front-end developer with great design skills for a small project that can transition to a long-term contract.
@WishTender wishtender.com is a gift registry web app currently supporting over 17,000 users. Our users are tech-savvy content creators in their 20'-30's and the brand is fun.
I'm are looking to bring on a front-end developer to assist with a new feature on our user settings page. The feature involves connecting with the Twitter API, storing user settings related to tweet format, and auto-tweeting when certain events take place in the system.
This position requires both providing inputs on the feature design and implementation of the front-end.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:

Strong visual, UI and interaction skills

Comfortable owning UI/UX decisions

Ability to onboard into an existing React codebase

Follow existing design patterns within reason

Comfortable with github
-
Comfortable collaborating with existing developer to create end-to-end feature

Comfortable working collaborating with backend developer to define API
-
Excellent communication skills, ability to present technical topics and challenges to all members of the team both with and without technical background

Ability to balance technical optimization with business needs

Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with others
-
Experience with Material UI is a plus but not required

Responsive design required
