What we do
Tuco AI is an iMessage automation platform for B2B sales teams. We let businesses send personalized iMessage conversations at scale — integrated with HubSpot, GoHighLevel, and Salesforce. Small team, real paying customers, real revenue.
The gig
This is a paid bounty → monthly retainer role. You start with a paid trial task ($150–200). Nail it, and you get weekly bounties. Deliver consistently for 2–3 weeks, and we move to a monthly retainer ($500–800/mo for 15–20 hrs/week).
I'm the solo technical founder. I need someone who can take ownership of backend tasks so I can focus on sales and product direction.
What you'll work on
- Node.js/Next.js API endpoints (REST + webhooks)
- BullMQ job queues and Redis
- Writing and running real test suites (not just AI-generated code you can't explain)
- HubSpot and GoHighLevel integrations
- Shipping features end-to-end with minimal hand-holding
You should be
- Strong in Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Redis
- Comfortable reading a codebase cold and shipping within days
- Able to explain every line of code you write — if you prompted an AI and can't walk through it, this isn't the role
- Available during US Eastern hours (overlap with 6 PM – 10 PM IST minimum)
- Communicative when blocked — don't disappear for 3 days
