Sure, hired 2 freelancers from IH so far, and must say it has become my primary recruiting platform.

Some tips:

• Write a good, honest job description and provide all relevant details. Simply posting "looking for a dev" is not enough detail. Put in the work you would expect from a company you'd like to work for.
• In the job ad, require that people reply with something specific, in my case I ask for their hourly rate and links/references to previous works. If you do not manage to mention those 2 things in your first mail to me, you are already out. In my experience this removes 50% of all applicants. (If you are not able to follow basic instructions, how can I trust you work independently on much more complex tasks?)
• Talk to people, get to know them a bit. Most people I interview over Zoom relax significantly once they realise that I am also a struggling indiehacker :)
• Offer flexible schedules & flexible deadlines. Lots of people on IH are part-timers. If you can accommodate people putting in their hours in the evenings & weekends and don't need time critical work then IH might be a very suitable recruiting platform for you.
