We’re looking for a Senior Next.js Engineering Manager to lead our remote engineering team and own Next.js-based projects from start to finish.
You’ll combine hands-on coding skills with leadership and strategy — working closely with our CEO to deliver world-class applications.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* 👨💻 Lead and mentor a remote team of Next.js engineers
* 🏗️ Architect and develop modern web apps with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
* 🤝 Translate product requirements into clean, efficient codebases
* 🚀 Drive best practices (CI/CD, code quality, performance optimization)
* 🛠️ Manage projects end-to-end — from planning to delivery
* 🧠 Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
* 🎯 Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
* 📊 Monitor team performance and project health
✅ Requirements
* Native English speaker 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
* Based in North America or Europe 🌍
* 4+ years of Next.js development experience
* 1+ year of experience managing developers directly
* Excellent communicator (written + verbal)
* Experience working async-first (Slack + Loom preferred)
* Portfolio of live Next.js projects (we want to see them!)
