Hiring: NodeJS / Typescript Dev for Finalytic
We're Finalytic, a UK Startup automating financial workflows for clients in the Short-Let industry (Airbnb, Booking. com, Expedia, VRBO, etc).
We're launching a new version of our infrastructure, and we're looking for someone working on helping improve stability and insights. We're looking to introduce tracing, central log monitoring, alert, and create integration tests for our system. Our team is very small and fully remote. We (Ben and Frank, the founders) speak fluent German and English.
Minimum proficiency requirements:
- Expert with Typescript / NodeJS
- Unit & Integration testing
- DevOps skills, e.g. Kubernetes/Docker deployment
- APIs in general
Tech you'll be in touch with:
- Temporal.io
- Hasura
- Scraping (Puppeteer/Playwright)
- Monorepo (pnpm)
Important skills besides tech:
- Communication: Since we're completely remote, we're expecting professional communication skills.
- Self responsibility: We're a small team, and we need every member to have as much of an impact as possible. We'll be communicating regularly, but we will not draw out every single small task. Participating in task management is key to us.
- Passion, fun, ambition: We're passionate about what we do and love challenges around building ambitious projects, we're interested in tech and the people we work with. We respect if you want to keep your personal life private, but we'll always be interested to get to know you more closely and to build a long term relationship!
We're happy to get you onboard, and we'll also pay you to get familiar with tools like temporal.io. We're also happy to contribute back to open source tech that we use.
